9 OOR Webinars Next Week

As part of Sunshine Week 2019, the Office of Open Records is hosting a series of nine webinars addressing various topics related to Pennsylvania’s Right-to-Know Law and Sunshine Act. Some will be of more interest to agencies, some of more interest to requesters, and some will be of interest to both groups.

After you sign up for a webinar, you’ll receive a confirmation email. About 30 minutes prior to the start of each session you sign up for, you’ll receive another email which includes a link to join the webinar. The OOR’s webinars run via Skype, so you may need to download a small app to participate, but in our testing the process has been pretty seamless.

Earlier today, George Spiess (the OOR’s Director of Training and Outreach) and I hosted a webinar focused on the Standard Right-to-Know Law Request Form. The participants had great questions.

Webinar on 3/6 – Request Form Plus Open Q&A

Office of Open Records LogoTomorrow (March 6, 2019) at 10:30 a.m., the Office of Open Records will host a webinar to explain recent changes to the Standard Right-to-Know Law Request Form and to answer RTKL-related questions during an open Q&A session.

I’ll be part of the webinar, as will George Spiess, the OOR’s Director of Training and Outreach.
